Playday theme 'Give us a go!'

This year's playday, the annual celebration of children's right to play, on 6 August has the theme 'Give us a go!'.

Organisers are calling for a reverse in the decline in adventurous play opportunities. Hundreds of Playday events taking place across the UK include go-kart building, assault courses and tree climbing. For details visit www.playday.org.uk.
