Position: Nursery nurse, Ysgol y Llan, Whitford, Wales - How did it feel to win the Training and Development Agency (TDA) Teaching Assistant of the Year Award in Wales? My colleagues didn't tell me they were nominating me, so I only found out when I was in the final three. The headteacher called us in and said 'We've nominated someone'. The staff asked parents and former staff and pupils to write letters of support to TDA.
