Children proud to hatch duckling

Children at Goschun Road Nursery in Carlisle are proud to have hatched their own duckling from an egg.
Four ducklings were nurtured in an incubator at the nursery a few weeks ago as part of a project on growth and development. Once they got too big to be kept in the nursery, the ducklings were adopted by two separate farms, where the children are planning to go and visit them soon.
