More childminders using children's centres

More childminders are working with their local Sure Start children's centre, according to the National Childminding Association.
In research released to coincide with National Childminding Week, the NCMA says that out of 126 centres it surveyed, nine out of ten centres were working with childminders. Training opportunities alongside other centre staff or parents were also available at 82 per cent of centres. Two-thirds of centres provided drop-in sessions, while three-quarters offered toy libraries.
