FS Profile assessments point to future success

Clear evidence has emerged that shows that children who do well in assessments at the age of five are more likely to go on to continue to achieve in primary school.

However, those children who achieve the lowest scores at the end of the Reception year are six times more likely to stay as low achievers at the age of seven than their peers.
