More childminders using children's centres

More and more childminders are working with their local Sure Start children's centre, according to research by the NCMA in National Childminding Week.

Out of 126 centres surveyed nine out of ten centres were working with childminders. Training opportunities alongside other centre staff or parents were also available at 82 per cent of centres. Two-thirds of centres provided drop-in sessions, while three-quarters offered toy libraries.
