NDNA Scotland gives response

12 June 2008, 12:00am

NDNA Scotland has given its response to the Scottish Social Services Council consultation on the new Continuous Learning Framework, saying direct support for the costs of private and voluntary nurseries would be needed.

The framework, designed for early years practitioners and the social services sector, aims to help with training and career opportunities. NDNA Scotland chief executive Purnima Tanuku said, 'If this is to be a mandatory document rather than guidance, it is important that thought is given to the resources PVI settings will need to make it a success.'
