Childminders alerted to e-mail fees scam

The rogue e-mail was exposed after two were sent to a Leicestershire childminder who became suspicious and alerted the Family Learning and Childcare Service. Trading Standards officers have now issued a warning, fearing that the e-mail may be circulating around the country. Childminder Jo Barlow, from Castle Donington, received the first e-mail in August last year, but replied to the sender that she had no vacancies.
