Committee of MPs to put EYFS under scrutiny

The Early Years Foundation Stage comes under scrutiny from the Children, Schools and Families Committee later this month.

The review, chaired by Barry Sheerman MP, will consider the curriculum, pedagogy and assessment arrangements under the EYFS. It will also look at the statutory nature of the EYFS, whether its birth-to-five remit is appropriate, and the implications for the early years and childcare workforce.
