Nursery re-opens just a week after suspected arson attack
Nursery World,
24 April 2008
A nursery has re-opened just one week after it suffered a suspected arson attack. Help from the NDNA and the local community have got Brooklyn Day Nursery in Nottinghamshire back on its feet after the pre-school unit was burnt down on 6 April. Owner Sue Dursley has since transformed her top-floor family home into a replacement unit. Children's work, toys, equipment and possessions were lost in the fire, but local businesses and NDNA's corporate partner Hope Education have made donations.
