Scotland government announce funding to tackle childhood obesity

Scotland's government announced £6m funding to tackle childhood obesity. Health boards will set up family-focused healthy weight programmes for children aged five to 15. The programmes will target at least 20,000 children. The funding comes a week after a Government report estimated that child poverty could be costing Scotland £1.75bn every year.
