Prince Charles entertains children

Nursery World, 10 April 2008

The Prince of Wales entertained children with Beatrix Potter's The Tale of Peter Rabbit when he opened a nursery and playground at Borrowdale primary school in Keswick, Cumbria, last week.

Children clutched soft toys of Jemima Puddleduck and rabbits as Prince Charles read aloud to them. The visit came at the end of the Prince's two days highlighting the importance of rural communities in the county that is associated with the classic children's author.
