Child pedestrians in deprived areas of England are four times more likely to be seriously injured than in the least deprived, says a study published in the latest Archives of Disease in Childhood.

Researchers at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine found that child cyclists in the most deprived areas were three times more likely to be seriously injured than their peers in the least deprived areas.
