A nursery nurse offered shocked parents special Easter deals on sex toys, lubricants and dildos via her playgroup's e-mail mailing list, reported Scotland's Daily Record.

Part-time Ann Summers saleswoman Louise O'Donnell thought parents at the Busy Bee Playgroup in Strathaven, Lanarkshire, would be interested in bargains in bondage gear but has since made a grovelling apology. A third of a tonne of lead has been stolen from a nursery in Market Drayton, North Shropshire, causing thousands of pounds' worth of damage.
