Supporting women through pregnancy, more integrated childcare provision and holistic services to meet the needs of children and families are among proposals out for consultation among early years providers and practitioners in Scotland.
The month-long consultation on Early Years and Early Intervention, a joint policy document from the Scottish government and the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities (COSLA), is in preparation for the launch of an Early Years Framework in the autumn.
