Nurseries stretch for health and happiness

Nurseries around the country went pro-active from 10 to 14 March as part of the National Day Nurseries Association's 'Healthy Body, Happy Me' campaign week. At Red Hen Day Nursery in Louth, Lincolnshire, children planted carrot seeds (above) and had a yoga session. Staff at Granby House Nursery in Parkgate, Rotherham (top right) led activities with health club Fitness First, as did local fitness programme providers Stretch 'n' Grow at Woodlands Day Nursery of Timperley in Cheshire.
