Apples win healthy eating award

A Hampshire pre-school is celebrating after being named winner of the Organix 'Make a Difference' Food Award for its commitment to healthy eating.

Little Apples of Bramley won praise from judges for its snack bar, healthy packed lunch club, and making food part of play. The awards, organised by online directory What's On 4 Little Ones and sponsored by children's food company Organix, were launched last year to highlight the best pre-school activities. The awards cover 20 different categories, ranging from best antenatal class to best messy play class.
