Staff shine in Teddies nursery awards

Staff at a south-east London nursery are celebrating being named best overall nursery in an internal awards scheme.
Teddies Bexleyheath, a BUPA-owned nursery, outshone 34 nurseries in the Teddies chain at the Shine awards in February. In July the setting was the first in the Teddies group to be graded outstanding by Ofsted. Nursery manager Mandy Penfold said, 'We were very proud to win the best overall nursery award. As well as receiving an outstanding Ofsted rating, we also got 100 per cent in our annual parent satisfaction survey at the end of last year, so it shows all our hard work has paid off. 'It's...
