Social enterprise: Consultants not for profit

The Children's House Consultancy has relaunched itself as a social enterprise to 'open new doors' to childcare providers and local authorities.

The two former directors of the training and consultancy business have relinquished private membership and declared the company not-for-profit. They said that decisions will now be taken by a newly strengthened co-operative board. As a social enterprise the company will be able to work with publicly-funded providers and projects.
