Families: Financial advice starts in pregnancy

The Parent's Guide to Money will be distributed by midwives to mothers in the early stages of pregnancy through a range of outlets, including children's centres, when it is rolled out nationally this summer. It gives advice on budgeting, welfare benefits and the cost of childcare and covers issues such as maternity leave and child trust funds.
