A Scottish village school that has just two pupils on its current roll will stay open despite local authority attempts to close it, reported the BBC. The Scottish Government ruled that Cabrach primary school should remain open after Moray council proposed the children be transferred to another site. Alistair Farquhar, director of educational resources for Moray council, said, 'We will continue to support the small Cabrach community and the school.'
