Ofsted registration: Childcarers unite on fees

The chief executives of leading childcare organisations have joined forces in a letter to The Times to warn that childcare providers will be driven out of business by the proposed rises in Ofsted registration fees.

The letter, published on 20 February, was timed to coincide with the close of the Government consultation on the fee proposals. It was signed by the chief executives of the National Day Nurseries Association, the National Childminding Association, the Pre-school Learning Alliance, the Daycare Trust and 4Children.
