'Diet strategies should start at pre-school age'

The Pre-school Learning Alliance says the Government must invest in nutritional strategies for young children if it is to create lifelong healthy eating habits.
Last week, children's minister Ed Balls pledged £21m in funding for the School Food Trust over the next three years, to help increase the take-up of school meals. The Government has also given £2m to set up a network of 16 School FEAST training centres across the country.
