Court case: Nursery owner jailed for child sex offences

A nursery owner has been given an indeterminate sentence of 40 months for sexually assaulting young children.

Daniel Lynch, 27, who lives near Maidenhead, Berkshire, and who owned two nurseries near Slough, was jailed for life last week after pleading guilty to 39 charges of child abuse and sexual offences. These include sexual assault of a child under 13 and taking indecent pictures of a child. His indeterminate sentence means that he will serve at least 40 months in jail before being considered for parole. Mr Lynch has also been placed on the Sex Offenders' Register.
