Insects and spiders at Edge Hill University

Giant snakes, lizards, tarantulas, Madagascan hissing cockroaches and millipedes were all part of the fun at the launch of the School Science Innovation Centre at Edge Hill University, Lancashire.
Children also saw a science-based puppet theatre from Concept Cartoons. The centre will provide training and support to any professionals in schools who are teaching science.
