Young adults confused about birth and newborns say National Childbirth Trust

Many young adults are confused about birth and living with a newborn baby, according to research published last Monday by the National Childbirth Trust to coincide with the charity's rebranding.

Its survey found that adults aged 18-35 were confused about the length of labour and the time needed to look after a newborn baby. The charity says it is changing its name and logo to NCT to make it clear that its services are open to all parents.
