Free early years entitlement: PVI providers meet councils

Nursery owners met with the Local Government Association last week to raise their concerns over the sustainability of private and voluntary settings.

Representatives attended from PVI Providers Associations in Wiltshire, Hampshire, Somerset, Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire, West Berkshire, Kent, Enfield and the London boroughs of Bromley and Richmond, as well as the Pre-School Learning Alliance and the Federation of Small Businesses and Westminster Advisors. The meeting was chaired by Les Lawrence, chair of the Children and Young People's Board at the LGA.
