Child health: Be healthy and happy with sport stars

Nursery World has joined forces with the National Day Nurseries Association for the 2008 'Healthy Body, Happy Me' campaign, backed by sport stars Linford Christie and Colin Jackson (picutred).
The campaign, with an awareness week from 10-14 March, urges nurseries to help children discover the benefits of healthy lifestyles through fun activities and menus. Linford Christie OBE said, 'If children can be encouraged to enjoy sports from an early age, then it is likely that they will continue to make the right choices as they get older.'
