Children eye up new nursery site

Nursery children from Mission Grove Primary School in Walthamstow, London, visited the site of their new children's centre last week to see how building work was progressing.
The new centre is due to open in April. Currently the nursery is housed in a building attached to the school, but children will transfer to the new centre before it is converted to offices and rooms for training and health services. Some of the centre's services are already up and running, including a midwife, outreach and community workers and a childminding network. A speech and language therapist runs rhyme-time sessions open to local families with children from birth...
