A taxi driver is set to make the Guinness Book of World Records for appearing as Santa at a local nursery school every year since 1969.
Rab Skirving, 62, told the Edinburgh Evening News that he had probably been Father Christmas to 16,000 children at Calderglen Nursery. 'When I stepped in to do it all those years ago, I never imagined I'd be doing it today,' he said. 'But I've had kids and grandkids at the nursery, and there's never been any reason not to do it.'
