I'm doing the EYPS course now on the full training pathway, and I think it should be called a PGCEYE (Post Graduate Certificate in Early Years Education) because then it would be recognised as on a par with a PGCE. It might not be a top salary job at first, but all settings are going to need an EYP eventually.
