Free entitlement is focus of Government campaign

Children's minister Beverley Hughes was joined by actress Angela Griffin at Marsham Street Children's Centre in Westminster, London, last week to raise parent awareness of the free early education entitlement.
The Government launched the Altogether Better for Children campaign to encourage take-up of the free 12.5 hours a week for three- and four-year-olds and publicise that the entitlement is set to increase to 15 hours a week in 2010. 'With free early learning, I'm able to give my daughters the best start in life,' said Ms Griffin.
