Fatherly care holds boys back

Boys who spent at least 15 hours a week in their fathers' care as toddlers are less ready academically when they start school than other children, according to new research.
No such differences were found in girls, but both boys and girls who were looked after by their fathers for between five and 15 hours per week were better behaved at the start of school, researchers at the University of Bristol found.
