In Brief: Quality assurance scheme being redeveloped

The National Day Nurseries Association is redeveloping its quality assurance scheme Quality Counts online, to be called e-Quality Counts.
The scheme is under review to take account of the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage. NDNA has received funding from the Children's Workforce Development Council to add mentoring and support and online courses. However, visits from an assessor will remain part of the accreditation process.
