Provision: £8.5m centre caters for special needs children

A landmark multi-agency development centre for children and young people with disabilities and complex needs officially opened in London last week.
Sunshine House provides health, education, social care and child and adolescent mental health services under one roof in the £8.5m centre in Camberwell (Nursery World, 30 November 2006). The centre is the result of a public-private partnership between Southwark Primary Care Trust and Building Better Health, Lambeth Southwark Lewisham. More than 12,000 children and families are set to benefit.
