Inspections: Hygiene at nursery is found inadequate
Bright Horizons Family Solutions is promising to bring its Cambridge University-based nursery up to scratch after Ofsted judged the setting 'inadequate' in all areas.
The latest inspection report said staff inconsistency at University Nursery at West Cambridge 'significantly compromises children's health, safety, development and overall wellbeing'. The 100-place setting opened in 2004, with daycare for university staff and students. Its last report in January 2005 rated it 'good'. Concerns were raised as inspectors found that 'Staff fail to consistently follow suitable hygiene procedures.'
