Training: High/Scope moves north

High/Scope UK, the not-for-profit teacher training and research organisation, has relocated from London to South Tyneside after losing major funding from Barnardo's and forming a new partnership with South Tyneside Early Excellence centre.
High/Scope was sharing a building in London with Barnardo's, who funded the organisation for 16 years. Administrative staff from the London offices chose not to relocate to South Tyneside, opting instead for voluntary redundancy. High/Scope plans to launch a DVD on 20 November to coincide with the official opening ceremony for the new building, which features a national training and demonstration centre.
