Position: Full-time mother and qualified nursery nurse, Jarrow, South Tyneside - What is the Save our Catholic School campaign? We are fighting against South Tyneside council's proposals to close St Bede's primary school and its attached nursery school, where my daughters are enrolled. The council wants to close the school in 2010 because of surplus places. However, it is the only Catholic school in the area.
