Pre-schools: Rural pre-school groups get £500,000

Baby and toddler groups in rural parts of Norfolk have been awarded almost £500,000 in Big Lottery funding as part of a five-year project led by the Pre-school Learning Alliance.
The Baby and Toddler Project was launched to help parents in the hard-to-reach areas of north and west Norfolk. Four development officers have been recruited who will visit existing baby and toddler groups and offer services such as health and safety sessions, educational play activities, advice on nutrition and exercise, and events such as 'Prams in the Park' days.
