Inclusion: Practitioners offered £2m training

A £2m project will develop training for early years settings and schools to support children with speech, language and communication difficulties.

The DCSF funding for 2007- 08 is part of the new Inclusion Development Programme to tackle improving the skills of those working with children with special educational needs. The communication charity I CAN and Dyslexia Action will develop training materials for the programme as part of the Government's strategy for children with SEN and disabilities.
