Nurseries involved in healthy food promotion projects are being invited to apply for funding from the Organix Foundation, a new charity promoting the links between food quality and child health.
The Organix Foundation is interested in projects focusing on the impacts of nutrition, different methods of farming and different types of food processing on children's well-being, growth and development. Trustees from the Foundation, which was set up with profits from organic food company Organix, met for the first time in September to shortlist proposals from the nine applications received so far.
