Dare To Care survey

Nursery World, 27 September 2007

One in five children say that not having a mobile phone is just as much a sign of being poor as not having books to read at home, according to a survey by Dare To Care, a new volunteering campaign run by CSV and the Campaign to End Child Poverty. The survey records the attitudes to poverty of more than 700 children aged seven to 16. It is available at www.daretocare.org.uk.
