Little choice in childcare, say SEN parents

'Wider than the Atlantic Ocean' is how one mother of a disabled child described the gap in childcare choices available for parents of disabled children, in a new report from the Daycare Trust.
The childcare charity carried out a survey of more than 100 families of disabled children as part of its Listening to Families project. They found parents wanted to have all the children in their family in the same setting or close by, but were frustrated by the shortage of childcare settings that would take both disabled and non-disabled children.
