Healthy food only is on rat's menu for children

A rat who dreams of becoming a top-class chef and would rather go hungry than eat unhealthy food, is the star of a campaign launched last week to encourage children to choose healthy school meals.

The campaign, a partnership between the School Food Trust and the Walt Disney Company, features characters from the forthcoming Disney children's film 'Ratatouille'. It follows reports that 178,000 fewer pupils from UK primary schools are taking school dinners than there were two years ago.
