Two three-year-old chums from Aberdeen ran away together because they were being split into different nursery groups, reported The Times.

Erin Toner and Bradley Lindsay were said to have been inseparable for the past year and they cried when they heard they would not be able to be in the same class. Efforts are being made to put them into one class after the pair escaped from their playgroup while their supervisor's back was turned, but were intercepted by a parent.
