In Brief: Short-break funding allocations to be announced

Short-break funding allocations for disabled children for 2008/2009 are to be announced next month, alongside details of the pathfinder programme unveiled in the report Aiming Higher for Disabled Children. Details of how local authorities and their partner agencies can become involved in pathfinder activity will also be released. Guidance on the delivery of short breaks is due out in early 2008.
