Three-year-old Holly Rukin sizes up a tarantula at a Summer Reading Challenge event held at Heckmondwike Library in West Yorkshire. Library visitors both hairy and slimy included snakes, caterpillars and bugs. They were brought in by Zoo Lab, an educational hands-on workshop. Library manager Julie Walker said, 'The parents are all a bit squeamish but the children absolutely love it.'
