Take-up of subsidised places profiled

The highest take-up of the Childcare Affordability Programme (CAP) in London is in the borough of Brent, recent figures show.

The London Development Agency (LDA) is currently collecting statistics from the 33 boroughs involved in the CAP. They are looking to record the number of subsidised CAP places on offer and the take-up of these places from April to June 2007. The figures to date were privately circulated by London Councils to the 26 boroughs who had communicated their results to the LDA, with Brent coming out on top in occupancy.
