Men invited to a careers day at school

Taster courses in primary teaching are being run across England next term to attract more male recruits.

The three-day course gives participants the chance to shadow a teacher and experience a typical day in the classroom, see how to plan lessons and gain advice on applying for teacher training. The course is organised and funded by the Training and Development Agency for Schools (TDA) to attract more men into teaching.
