Childhood asthma and fruit consumption

A population-based survey of 2,640 primary school children aged five to ten in London found no association between eating fresh apples and asthma symptoms, but some evidence suggested a higher consumption of apple juice from concentrate, and of bananas, may protect against wheezing.
